Twisted Gryphon Leather makes its Internet Debut!

Having begun this leather business full time in late spring of this 2007, it was painfully obvious that an Internet presence would be essential for this to succeed. The same question always came up when I was marketing at local Fetish / BDSM events or Renaissance Faires; "Do you have a website?" Well, now I do. While it will be a work in progress for some time to come, please bear with me as I flesh it out and continue to add more products as they are completed and/or I get pictures of the products I have.

It is difficult to guess what an Internet customer may be interested in and I much prefer to do custom leather work by order. However, people are very visual in their shopping endeavors, so I will put many samples of my work on this site so as to leave you, the customer aware of the wide variety of leather products and services we are able to provide as well as a few specialty and costume items from time to time.

Please keep in mind that many of the pictures you may see are just samples of the work I do and may not be available for purchase. I will be happy to duplicate anything you see within reason. Please understand that this is a one person shop and most everything is done by hand, so creating an "exact" duplicate of something as fluid as leather that you may see here is a physical impossibility. Duplicating anything made of leather is much like duplicating a tattoo. While it may look the same from a distance, I promise you, there are differences. Anything that is in stock and for sale will be listed as such and what you see in the picture will be the exact item you will receive.

Along with my line of leather goodies, I will occasionally list miscellaneous items that I've picked up for various shows that may or may not be leather related.

I welcome any opportunity to help folks out so if you are a craftsman wishing to sell your wares, be they leather or not,  feel free to drop me a line and we'll see what sort of arrangements we can make.

Eventually, I will have some sizing charts, and some "how to" charts used in measuring for products that require custom fitting such as leather fetish collars & cuffs, renaissance armor pieces, etc. I'll even occasionally write up some interesting tidbits about how to care for the leather goods after you have purchased them and the uses to which some of them can be put.

Read about my exploits into the wide world of retail vending and internet commerce in my journal here. I will endeavor to keep it a bit more updated as time allows.

  Renaissance Faire Accessories

We produce many items for Ren-Faire fans such as leather armor, belt pouches, belts, waist cinchers, scabbards, sheathes, frogs, and pretty much anything else you may want made of leather. We are always open to new ideas and are more than willing to attempt to make anything you may have in mind. Our leather is the very best available and priced reasonably for the cost concious consumer. Look for me at Four Winds Ren Faire (weekends from March 1 thru April 20), Lawton Renaissance Festival (June 7-8 & June 14-15) and Middle Faire (Sept 27-28 & Oct. 4-5 ) this year

Fetish, Alternative, Goth, Motorcycle, and other Leather works

Having been an active participant in various alternative lifestyles for most of my adult life, I've come to understand the needs of those communities quite well. I'm a motorcycle rider from way back as well as a long time member of the local leather community. I know how picky I am about my own leather goods, and I can only hope that my customers are as picky as I am. I offer many fetish items such as Leather Restraints, hog ties, bondage mittens, floggers, leather paddles, slappers, straps, and other miscellaneous leather goodies. For the bikers, I offer heavy duty tool bags, tool rolls, saddle bags, tank strips, and zipper replacement for chaps and leather jackets. I also do repairs on pretty much any type of leather items no matter what they are or what purpose you intend to use them. In the last few months, I've repaired two pair of saddle bags, a pair of chaps, several belts, a gun belt, sword holders, pouches, and even some shoes and boots. Let me know what you need repaired, and I will endeavor to serve your needs. Just drop me a line

New products and services offered for the younger folks.

Recentyl I had the opportunity to make some new Renaissance products for children and I thought I should add them to my line of products since they were such a hit. So far, I'm concentrating my efforts on long lasting accessories and some small bits of garb. I will undoubtedly expand the line as time and orders allow.

Services

I try to provide any service my customer may want including repair and reconditioning. When I vend at various events, I always carry tools and some hardware in the event someone needs something mended or altered, or even made on site. I specialize in custom one of a kind pieces. Feel free to or give me a call if there is something you need repaired or made for you. If I can't do it, chances are, I can point you in the right direction.

This past weekend was a very successful beginning for our trade show ventures. I never knew vending at a BDSM/fetish event could be so much fun. Several hundred people perused, fondled, and purchased many products and gave us good feedback on what we may choose to include in these shows in the future. All in all, it was a very good weekend.

Thank You's

I'd like to take a little space here to thank some of the people who have helped me establish this business. First of all, I would like to thank Sarah, who's undying beilef in me and my products helped give me the push I needed to make this thing a reality.

Secondly I'd like to thank my friend Steve who is my IT God and all around great friend.

Many people have given me moral and sometimes even financial support for this endeavor. To list them all would take too much space and bandwidth. You know who you are, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Lastly, I'd like to thank you my friends and customers without whom, I would be just another guy that likes to play with leather.
